Driftwood Jewellery; Fine Art Photography, Linocuts, Sculpture and other artworks.
All inspired by the Jurassic Coast, West Dorset.
Driftwood jewellery made by professional sculptor Sarah Jane Ross (SJR). Sourced from the Jurassic Coast and made in Bridport, West Dorset. A piece of wearable art.
Each necklace is individual. SJR treats each piece, crafting according to its form, essence and texture, with different pigments and using the traditional Japanese ‘Shou Sugi Ban’ wood preservation technique.
This pendant, Dolphin, harnesses the energy of the sea. Its form is elegant, glimmering and striking. Reversible, on copper colour, leather cord. Cord length is 39cm (standard short, 19"). Piece is 9cm long.
Each piece is lightweight, so easy to post. A lovely unusual gift or great stocking-filler. Optional reusable cotton gift bag available (£1 each).
Driftwood travels and turns. Like each of us, it carries its own story. Water and the sea are ongoing themes in Sarah Jane's art - these pieces are smaller-scale, accessible, wearable sculptures.
"Thank you, they're beautiful!"
"Absolutely love it! Thank you"
